Post treatment care or ‘retention’ is an essential part of ensuring your sensational smile stays that way. When the active phase of your treatment is complete, we’ll begin the retention stage. This lasts for a minimum of 24 months as teeth tend to move throughout life (with or without orthodontic treatment). We recommend long-term retainer wear to prevent any changes to your new, gorgeous smile.
Typically, an upper removable clear retainer will be provided and a lower fixed retainer placed at the time of appliance removal. These retainers are custom made clear plastic fittings that are designed to keep your teeth in position after treatment.
Our fees include all appointments during the retention phase.
